Cookie dough is my number one comfort food, and I mean it. I buy cookie dough whenever a friend goes through a breakup, whenever I face rejection, or when I just need some rom-com time. When I first watched the videos showing Cookie Dō’s front store, I knew I needed to head over there. Thankfully, one of my best friends lives a short 10-minute walk from it. I was happy when I saw there was no line at Dō, especially after reading that people have waited HOURS to get their cookie dough craving fix.

I went there on a Friday afternoon, so the line was fairly short. I had the opportunity to sample many of the flavors that were available, and I am here to share with you my ratings. It goes without saying that the classic chocolate chip one was by far the best one of them all. It was a little sweeter than the one I buy from the supermarket. It was still everything I wanted. Sadly, after a few spoons I had to put the lid on my cup and put it away, it was too overwhelming. I shared that cup with the brownie batter flavor, which was both sweet and biter. The texture of the dough was superb. Whenever I make cookies at home the dough seems more like a batter, but Dō’s dough was exactly like a cookie dough should be: cake-y, soft and filled with chocolate chips!

The oatmeal M&M’s flavor was extremely good too. I loved this one because of the texture of the oatmeal tamed down the sweetness of the dough, and who doesn’t love M&M’s? I especially liked this one because of the crunch the M&M’s gives to each mouthful. I would literally choose M&M’s cookies over any other one.

Lastly, the flavor that I loved was the Sweet and Salty. I am personally not a huge fan of caramel, but I have to say that this was the perfect combination for, well, a sweet and salty experience. The caramel, the sea salt and the chocolate went perfectly well with the cookie dough. I recommend this one if you don’t want to get overwhelmed with sweetness.

If you are not a big fan of cookie dough -please tell me how this is even a possibility- there are other options in the store. Some include raw cookie dough like the ice cream sanDOich or the a cookie do milkshake, or baked goods like cookies, brownies and fudges.
